Richard

Richard first met Yuki in Osaka when she wanted to study chess and he wanted somebody to play chess with.
She answered his message in a magazine and she studied chess for two weeks before giving up (possibly through boredom says Richard).
It was about 16 years ago and that was the start of their relationship
They finally got married in November of 2003 in Osaka Japan and decided to come back to live in Norwich in England.

In July of 2004 they got a mad, giant Dalmatian puppy. His name can be Crispin,Crisps,Crisper,Chrispo
or Chrispa, depending on their feeling of the day.
Here is a photo of him. He loves horses, other dogs, cats and humans. He is so lovable and friendly.

Our Garden
Here you can see the garden. It was created by Richard's dad Leo and an old 16th century sword was found buried deep in a part of the back garden.
Now the garden is a thing of great beauty and tranquility with apple trees, plum trees and three fish ponds and lots of flowers.
Cricket
Gardening (and dog walking) is now one of Richard's enforced hobbies. The others are cricket.........he is a member of Costessey Cricket Club, and was the founding member of Osaka Cricket Club in Japan.

His other main hobby is chess and he now belongs to the Norwich Dons Chess Club.

Richards Dad
Richard's father is probably the only 84 year old man with a pony tail.
He loves gardening, oil painting and talking a lot.
His mother Joyce drives a giant 4 wheel Toyota, and cares for all the family members.
She speaks Japanese and loves playing scrabble and water painting.

Richard has four sisters. One of them, Dena, lives 5 seconds across the road and also loves dogs, cats, gardening and scrabble.
